The best travel bag ever

The best travel bag ever

Is the Longchamp Le Pliage tote bag the best travel bag ever? Yes, yes it is. Ok, so pretty much every european/US college student owns one and most of Sydney’s Northshore but it’s for good reason.

The folding bag (that’s the Le Pliage bit), is about 75 euro for the medium sized nylon tote and to some that may seem steep for “just a nylon tote” but it’s really can fit a lot of stuff and it’s perfect for plane/train/bus/sailing travel. I’ve used in all situations and it’s pretty tough going. It’s kind of a bottomless pit

The longer shoulder straps make it comfy and perfect for schlepping yourself around museums, tourist sites, restaurants and shopping.

If you are a sensible packer you can fit a change of clothes in it if you didn’t want to take a big bag with you. Also take it to the grocery store to do a quick mini shop and avoid plastic bags.

I stupidly purchased the beige colour thinking it would go with everything in my wardrobe and it totally does BUT it does get FILTHY on the bottom. Nothing that a little bit of soapy water and a wash can’t fix (just avoid the gold hardware and zips)

Multiple thumbs up for this little workhorse.

Do you have a favourite travel bag?
