Fitness Food: Protein Banana Bread

This recipe has no added sugar, no dates, no honey, no oil and no flour! It is 100% yumminess and wholefood goodness all contained in a handy loaf. An easy go to breakfast before rushing out the door or as a pre workout snack for an added energy boost.  

The best bit? Its a three step process (including one of those steps being eating!)

220 cals per slice (12.5 F 19.5 C 10 P), For all your macro/calorie counting heads!


Yield: 8 slices


Ingredients:

2 bananas
3 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch salt
2 scoops Nuzest* protein powder (vanilla)
1 cup oats (use gluten free ones if available)
1 cup almond meal
1/4 cup coconut shreds
Coconut oil to grease your loaf tin

3 Step method:


1. All in a bowl and blitz with a hand mixer till smooth and combined

2. Place in pre heated oven 180 for 35-40 mins, then cool in tin

3. Eat!


Serve it with a blob each of greek yoghurt and my berry jelly
