Right! I want a donut and I want one now….and I’m talking about the yummy kind, not the inflatable. I DONUT care how bad my jokes are, ok?
Whilst it would be so easy to just duck up to the shops and hover up a sickly sweet pink dinosaur (hello childhood!), I thought I’d try to keep it relatively “healthy” and steer away from the store bought type. I’ve searched high and low and have come up with a selection of surprisingly healthy donut recipe. Most are refined sugar free, look amazing and are pretty straight forward. A donut pan would be a wise investment or a donut cutter, if you couldn’t get a pan.
We all deserve a treat now and again, so remember to enjoy in moderation (just because they are healthy doesn’t mean they are calorie free!).
