Sydney’s Best Outdoor Pools

Sydney’s Best Outdoor Pools

Ain’t nothing better than swimming a couple of laps bathed in sunlight on a beautiful Spring day. Sydney offers up some cracker outdoor pools, here’s a few of my personal favourites. Shall we dive in?

Andrew “Boy” Charlton, Woolloomoloo

8 lanes x 50m pool, with a stunning view of Sydney’s Harbour and Woolloomooloo. Their cafe pumps out delicious food including smoothie bowls, great eggs and also most important- coffee!

Clovelly Pool

You can’t argue with a free pool in Sydney’s East with Clovelly beach views. Get down to this pool on a sparkling day and you won’t regret it.

North Sydney Olympic Pool

Can’t go wrong with the view on this one, Sydney Harbour- Check, Opera House- Check, Luna Park- Check, City skyline- Check! Add a little more umph to your workout and walk over the Sydney Harbour Bridge while you are at it.

Prince Alfred Park Pool

Right in the heart of Surry Hills, close to Central railway and also in the same park complex which is home to New Outlook Fitness bootcamp sessions is Prince Alfred Park Pool. An urban oasis with great facilities all for $6.40 entry fee.

Manon Pool/Baths, Maroubra

Tucked away on the North end of Maroubra cliffs, Mahon Pool is a hidden gem. If you aren’t a strong swimmer this pool isn’t patrolled so best to get onto Maroubra Beach (safety first people!)

What are some of your favourite outdoor pools in Sydney?
