Emma, you describe yourself as a spiritual PA for your soul, tell us and more and why we need you!

I always like asking people when was the last time they spring cleaned their soul? We are so busy doing detoxes, spring cleaning our home, exercising our bodies and expanding our minds that we forget about our spiritual health. As a PA for the soul, I help people get the holistic side of their life in order.
Essentially, I do all the research, take all the notes, gather all the resources and report back into you with an array of options you can take up to live a more spiritual soulful life. Spiritual wisdom on demand so to speak!

How do you define spirituality?
A life lived well.
A balanced life.
A fulfilling life.
For me, spirituality has everything to do with your unique beliefs, and your holistic approach to looking after your body, mind and soul. It is about everything within your day, how you look, feel, your impact on others, your impact on the world. Living well, is about looking at the whole picture of life aka a holistic life.

You have an app and a book (awesome!) and you are across all different mediums or channels (astrology/yoga/detoxing/numerology/crystals etc), which we love. How would someone know what is the right path for them to take- Is it simply a case of what feels right and do we need to all weird and wacky on this journey?
Totally! You hit the spiritual nail on the head, it is all about what you are drawn to. What keeps coming up for you. What you are curious about. What resonates.
Spirituality is such a unique road for each of us, so what works for me, might not work for you. My work is all about a ‘pick your own path’ style of wisdom sharing. It doesn’t preach, it doesn’t tell, it simply shares. Letting people take what resonates and leave the rest.
For me, I was drawn to crystals and yoga early on…
Have you always been in touch with this way of life or did a particular experience bring you here?
My mother would say I have always been ‘a little bite quirky’ which I think is her definition of spirituality! When my sister was picking our Pony magazines, I wanted the weekly collective Tarot Magazine kit. I loved angels, fairies, crystals, and candles right from a child. However it wasn’t until I was well into my 20’s that I really acknowledged my spirituality and came out of the spiritual closest so to speak.
The death of my mother when I was 16, sparks a lot of questions that I noticed were a bit taboo. Death. Life after death. Ghosts. Religion. Belief. I didn’t really feel anyone was willing to help answer some of the big questions I had about the unknowns of the world. So, I started my soul search. Traveling, reading, researching, and connecting with like-minded souls. Tea leaf readers, astrologists, healers, authors, celebrities, clergy, nuns, yogis… and came to learn about everyone’s different approach to spiritual living. What I learned was that there was an endless way to approach belief, lifestyle, spiritual living – and I became desperate to let as many people as I could know about all of the options available to them in their life to get connection.
For me, it was a mix of death and the draw to keep traveling and searching that really brought me to my new life, as a soul searcher.

How do you like to nourish your body in the physical sense? Have you got a fitness/exercise regime that you stick to?
I am a sweat junkie. I like my workouts to leave me crawling to the couch. I really enjoy Kundalini Yoga for when I have creative or writers block. Also Les Mills GRIT cardio for when I may have had a stressful week. Short bursts of power, cardio, and breathe really wake up my soul!
I also have a Personal Trainer, Rowan Smith, who tells me like it is. He puts up with my moaning about how many burpees I have to do and tries to catch any crystals that may work their way out of my sports bra when I am exercising… He is the best! Helps to keep me accountable, he can tell if I have been hitting the chocolate vs hitting the chia…

Where to now? Where can we find more about you?
With a #1 New Release under my belt I am now hunting down that #1 Best Seller. With book #2 in talks, and a long list of speaking engagements my calendar is in desperate need of a PA – the irony ha!
I’m so lucky to do what I love, and help connect people their spiritual and soulful self. So while onlookers would say I am a complete workaholic I honestly don’t feel that I have worked a day this year. I love what I do. Am I tried sometimes? Sure. Do I keep on going. Definitely. The soul never sleeps when it comes to creative ideas and a-ha moments! So where to from here, where not to go from here…
Glass half full? Meh! I say, what a beautiful glass!
